Campaign Performance 8 questions

Your ad platforms hold the keys to where your budget goes. These questions help you find the winners, kill the losers, and stop guessing.

Question 1

"Which Meta campaigns had the highest ROAS in the last 30 days?"

Returns a ranked table of all your Meta campaigns with spend, revenue, and ROAS. Instantly see which campaigns are printing money and which are burning it.

Pro tip: Follow up with "Break that down by ad set" to find the winning audiences within your top campaign.
Question 2

"Compare my Google Ads and Meta Ads performance this month."

Gets you a side-by-side comparison of spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, and conversion volume across both platforms. One table, one answer — no more switching tabs.

Question 3

"Show me all campaigns spending more than $50/day with fewer than 3 conversions this week."

Surfaces your budget leaks. These are the campaigns you probably want to pause or restructure before they drain more budget.

Question 4

"What's my cost per acquisition by channel for the last 14 days?"

Breaks down CPA across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest so you can see where each new customer is cheapest to acquire.

Question 5

"Which Google Ads search terms drove the most conversions last month?"

Pulls your actual converting search terms from Google Ads data. Shows you what people are searching when they end up buying.

Pro tip: Ask "Which search terms have high spend but zero conversions?" to find negative keyword opportunities.
Question 6

"How are my TikTok campaigns performing compared to last month?"

Gets you a month-over-month comparison of TikTok spend, impressions, conversions, and ROAS. Useful for spotting whether the channel is trending up or down.

Question 7

"What's my daily ad spend trend across all channels for the past 30 days?"

Returns a daily spend chart across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest combined. Spot spend spikes, budget pacing issues, or days where something went wrong.

Question 8

"If I had to cut $500/month in ad spend, which campaigns should I pause?"

AI analyzes all your campaigns by efficiency and recommends the worst performers to cut. A decision that used to take an hour of spreadsheet analysis, done in seconds.

Revenue & Attribution 7 questions

Revenue numbers without attribution context are just vanity metrics. These questions connect the dots between spend and sales.

Question 9

"What percentage of my revenue comes from each channel this month?"

Returns a channel-by-channel revenue breakdown: Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Klaviyo, organic, direct. See the full picture in one view.

Question 10

"What was my best revenue day this month and what drove it?"

Identifies the peak revenue day and breaks down what happened — which campaigns spiked, which products sold, which channels drove traffic.

Pro tip: Follow up with "Were there any promotions or discount codes used that day?" to understand the full context.
Question 11

"Show me average order value trends over the past 90 days."

Plots your AOV over time so you can spot trends. Is it climbing because you launched a bundle? Dropping because of a discount campaign? Now you know.

Question 12

"What's my blended ROAS across all paid channels for this quarter?"

Combines total ad spend across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest against total attributed revenue. The single number that tells you if paid acquisition is profitable.

Question 13

"How does my weekend revenue compare to weekday revenue?"

Breaks down revenue by day of week. Useful for ad scheduling decisions — if Sundays consistently outperform, you might want to increase weekend bids.

Question 14

"Is Google or Meta driving more first-time customers?"

Cross-references Shopify customer data with channel attribution to show which platform is better at acquiring net-new buyers versus returning ones.

Question 15

"What's my MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio) for the past 30 days?"

Calculates total revenue divided by total marketing spend — the big-picture metric that cuts through attribution noise. Track this monthly to see if overall efficiency is improving.

Funnel & Conversion 7 questions

Traffic is only half the story. These questions reveal where visitors turn into buyers — and where they disappear.

Question 16

"Where are people dropping off in my checkout funnel?"

Shows the full funnel from page view to add-to-cart to checkout initiation to purchase, with drop-off rates at each step. Pinpoints exactly where you're losing customers.

Question 17

"What's my add-to-cart rate by traffic source?"

Breaks down add-to-cart rate by channel (Meta, Google, TikTok, email, organic, direct). See which traffic sources send shoppers who actually engage with products.

Pro tip: A channel with high traffic but low add-to-cart rate might be sending the wrong audience. Use this to evaluate targeting quality.
Question 18

"Compare conversion rates between mobile and desktop this month."

Pulls device-level conversion data from GA4 and Shopify. If mobile converts at half the rate of desktop, that's a UX problem worth fixing.

Question 19

"What's my cart abandonment rate and how has it changed over the past 30 days?"

Shows you what percentage of add-to-cart sessions never complete checkout, trended over time. Spot whether recent changes helped or hurt.

Question 20

"Which landing pages have the highest conversion rate from paid traffic?"

Combines GA4 session data with Shopify conversion events to rank your pages by paid traffic conversion rate. Find your best performers and send more budget their way.

Question 21

"How many sessions does it take for a customer to convert on average?"

Analyzes the number of sessions before purchase across your customer base. Helps you understand your consideration window and set realistic attribution expectations.

Question 22

"What's the checkout-to-purchase completion rate by channel?"

Of the visitors who start checkout, how many actually finish? Broken down by traffic source. A low rate from a specific channel might indicate a payment or trust issue with that audience.

Customer Behavior 6 questions

Understanding who your customers are and how they behave is the foundation of smart marketing decisions.

Question 23

"What's the split between new and returning customers this month?"

Shows you how much of your revenue comes from first-time buyers versus repeat customers. A healthy store has a growing base of returning buyers.

Pro tip: Ask "How does this compare to last month?" to track whether your retention is improving.
Question 24

"What's the average time between a customer's first and second order?"

Calculates the typical repurchase window from Shopify order data. This number should drive when you trigger re-engagement emails in Klaviyo.

Question 25

"Which traffic sources bring the highest average order value?"

Ranks channels by AOV so you can see which platforms attract higher-spending shoppers. Useful for allocating budget to the channels that bring in your most valuable customers.

Question 26

"Show me my top 10 customers by lifetime order value."

Pulls your highest-value customers from Shopify with their total spend, order count, and last purchase date. These are the people you should know by name.

Question 27

"What percentage of customers who bought in January came back to buy again?"

Calculates your cohort retention rate. Pick any month and see how many of those first-time buyers returned for a second purchase.

Question 28

"Which countries generate the most orders and revenue?"

Breaks down Shopify orders by shipping country with revenue, order count, and AOV. Discover if there's an untapped market you should target more aggressively.

Product Performance 6 questions

Not all products are created equal. These questions reveal which SKUs drive your business forward and which ones hold it back.

Question 29

"What are my top 10 products by revenue this month?"

Ranks your product catalog by revenue with units sold, average selling price, and percentage of total revenue. Your merchandising decisions should start here.

Question 30

"Which products are frequently bought together?"

Analyzes multi-item orders in Shopify to find product pairs and bundles that customers naturally combine. Perfect for creating cross-sell offers or bundle deals.

Pro tip: Use this data to set up a post-purchase cross-sell flow in Klaviyo for the most common product pairings.
Question 31

"Which products drive the most revenue from paid traffic specifically?"

Shows which products convert best from ad-driven visitors. If your top organic seller is different from your top paid seller, that's important insight for your creative strategy.

Question 32

"What products have a high add-to-cart rate but low purchase rate?"

Finds products that attract interest but fail to convert. These might have pricing friction, unclear product pages, or shipping cost surprises at checkout.

Question 33

"Show me product sales trends over the past 90 days for my top 5 products."

Plots daily or weekly sales volume for your best sellers. Spot seasonal patterns, the effect of promotions, or early signs of declining demand.

Question 34

"What's my average order value when a specific product is in the cart?"

Identifies which products drive bigger carts. If a certain product consistently appears in high-value orders, it might be your best upsell anchor.

Anomaly Detection 6 questions

Things break, trends shift, and campaigns go sideways. These questions help you catch problems before they become expensive.

Question 35

"Did anything unusual happen with my store performance this week?"

AI scans your revenue, orders, traffic, and conversion data for statistical anomalies. It flags anything that deviates significantly from your recent baseline — positive or negative.

Question 36

"Why did my orders drop last Tuesday?"

Investigates a specific day by checking traffic volume, conversion rates, ad spend changes, and funnel metrics. Gives you a diagnosis rather than just a number.

Pro tip: Be specific with dates. The more precise your question, the better the investigation.
Question 37

"Are any of my campaigns showing a declining trend in ROAS over the past 2 weeks?"

Catches ad fatigue and creative decay early. Returns campaigns where ROAS is trending downward so you can refresh creatives or adjust targeting before it gets worse.

Question 38

"Has my conversion rate changed significantly compared to the same period last month?"

Compares this period's conversion rate to the previous period. If it dropped, follow up to investigate whether it's a traffic quality issue or a site issue.

Question 39

"Flag any campaigns where CPA has increased more than 30% week over week."

Sets a threshold-based alert across all your campaigns. Returns only the ones that breached it, so you know exactly where to focus your attention today.

Question 40

"Is my Meta Event Match Quality score dropping on any events?"

Checks your EMQ scores for key conversion events. A drop in match quality means Meta is getting less signal, which directly impacts ad performance and targeting.

Klaviyo Email Performance 6 questions

Email is your highest-margin channel. These questions help you squeeze more revenue from every send.

Question 41

"How much revenue did my Klaviyo flows generate this month versus campaigns?"

Splits Klaviyo revenue between automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase) and one-off campaigns. Shows you which engine is doing the heavy lifting.

Question 42

"Which Klaviyo flow generates the most revenue per recipient?"

Ranks your flows by revenue per recipient — the true efficiency metric. A small flow with high RPR might be more valuable than a large flow with mediocre performance.

Pro tip: Follow up with "What's the open and click rate for that flow?" to understand the full engagement picture.
Question 43

"What's my abandoned cart recovery rate from Klaviyo over the past 30 days?"

Calculates how many abandoned carts were recovered through Klaviyo's automated flow. A low recovery rate signals that your email timing, content, or incentive might need work.

Question 44

"How is my Klaviyo subscriber list growing month over month?"

Shows subscriber growth trends including new signups, unsubscribes, and net growth. A shrinking list is a leading indicator of future email revenue decline.

Question 45

"Which Klaviyo campaign had the highest click-through rate this month?"

Ranks your email campaigns by CTR so you can identify which subject lines, content, and offers drive the most engagement. Replicate what works.

Question 46

"Compare the revenue from Klaviyo email versus my paid channels."

Puts email revenue in context alongside Meta, Google, and other paid spend. Many stores underestimate how much email contributes — this question reveals the true split.

Weekly & Monthly Reports 4 questions

Stop building reports manually. These prompt templates generate full reports in seconds that used to take hours.

Question 47

"Give me a complete weekly performance report for last week: revenue, orders, AOV, channel breakdown, top campaigns, funnel metrics, and any anomalies."

Pro tip: Save this as a recurring prompt. Ask it every Monday morning and you have a complete weekly review in under a minute.
Question 48

Produces a month-over-month comparison with percentage changes across all key metrics. Perfect for team meetings, client reports, or investor updates.

Question 49

Gets you a platform-by-platform breakdown with spend, ROAS, and CPA — plus AI recommendations for what to scale, what to pause, and what to test next.

Question 50

"What are the 3 most important things I should know about my store this week?"

The ultimate open-ended question. AI analyzes everything — revenue trends, campaign performance, funnel changes, anomalies — and surfaces just the three things that matter most. Start your week with this one.

How to Write Better Prompts

The questions above are ready to use as-is. But if you want to get even more specific results, here are some tips for writing effective prompts.

Be specific about time ranges

Instead of "How are my campaigns doing?" try "How are my Meta campaigns performing in the last 14 days compared to the 14 days before that?" Specific time ranges give AI a clear scope and let it make meaningful comparisons.

Name your platforms

Instead of "Show me my ads" try "Show me my Google Ads campaign performance." When you specify the platform, you get more focused results instead of a broad overview across everything.

Set thresholds

Instead of "Which campaigns are bad?" try "Which campaigns have a ROAS below 2.0 and spend over $100 this week?" Thresholds turn a vague question into an actionable filter.

Ask for comparisons

The most useful insights come from context. Ask for period-over-period ("this week vs last week"), channel-versus-channel ("Meta vs Google"), or segment-versus-segment ("mobile vs desktop") comparisons.

Follow up and drill down

Don't stop at the first answer. If you see something interesting, ask a follow-up: "Why did that happen?" or "Break that down by product" or "Show me only the last 7 days." The conversation format is your superpower — use it.

Ask for recommendations

Add "with recommendations" to any question to get actionable advice alongside the data. AI will suggest what to scale, pause, test, or investigate based on the numbers.
